Violence, abuse, bullying: an untold story of disabled people living in Wales

The EHRC are currently conducting a Formal Inquiry into disability-related harrassment, whereby they will examine the experiences of disabled people, their families, friends and carers, as well as examining whether those who have experienced harrassment have been supported or not by public authorities.

Important: Sojourner Project - Extended until 17th September 2010

The Sojourner Project is for women with no recourse to public funds, who entered the UK on a spousal visa and are eligible to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) under the Domestic Violence Rule.

Admin Support Worker/ Receptionist

  • 35 hours per week
  • £16,440.00 per annum

WWA are recruiting for a full time Admin Support Worker/ Receptionist.

The successful applicant will be the first point of contact within WWA.

Duties will include answering the telephone, transferring calls as appropriate and greeting visitors, maintaining records of and distributing all incoming and outgoing mail, and providing ad hoc administrative support to team members, including minute taking, typing and photocopying.

  • Previous experience of working in a busy office essential
  • Bilingualism in Welsh and English an advantage
  • Women only need apply - exemption sought under the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 Section 7 (2) (e)
