Shelter Cymru, is inviting applications for The Val Feld Women and Homelessness Award.
The award is given annually to a project or individual that deals with issues affecting women and homelessness. The award includes a one-year caretaking of a unique bronze statue inspired by Val’s achievements. The statue is the work of Welsh artist Helen Sinclair, and a £3,000 cash prize.
In 2009, the Val Feld award went to a WWA member group - Swansea Women's Aid Outreach Services Project.
